Taiwan

Back from Taiwan last Thursday night. I came back so early to settle university stuffs first, if not Mum keep calling everyday ask me questions about university admission when I don’t even know how to answer. All I can do is wait right? Came back for all the interviews. Last Friday afternoon went for NUS FoS interview, Monday SMU IS management, tomorrow there is NIE MOE BSc interview, mine going to be for PE teacher. Haha don’t really remember that I ticked that course, I thought I ticked Maths or something. But Mum’s still worried what if no university wants me… :( I have no idea what to do besides wait… NUS interview was fast like 10-15min? But SMU’s took 2hours. Did try to talk alot to show my enthusiasm!

I want to go back Taiwan ASAP after this, my driving lessons only halfway, although I’m just driving around the circuit many many times for lessons. Parking, road side parking, S road, changing gear 1-2-3 in 45m, going upslope. Only had one road drive so far, and I’m looking for more! Shifting gears fast is like driving a race car. Haha. But I have to confirm which university I go to, before I can go back. So may not be back in time for the exam on May 26, have to join next month’s exam which is like mid June. Roar… I have yet to join my dance course either, which is lucky I have not signed up for my 1 month course, if not its wasted for making this trip back to Singapore.

AND I miss my niece! Every afternoon I become a babysitter and take care of her, feed her milk, play with her to make her smile (love her smile!) and put her to sleep. I am inexperienced in changing diapers yet, especially when she poos. Always ask her mum to come up from work to change. Hehe. (Her english name is Alice now, is there a better/nicer name?)

Tennis session and Alice in Wonderland Premium

Today afternoon had Tennis session in school with Jin Wen, Jediah and Qian Jun. Felt great to sweat it all out as we played at 11.30am under the blazing hot sun. Can see that my hands are red, and the back of my legs is too (was playing in the court back facing the sun). Had to use some time to find back my touch for Tennis.

After school, went to collect some Alice in Wonderland premium. And I find that its extremely cool! Books in books and the prized treasure is a Key shaped Thumbdrive. But it weighed quite abit, had a little difficulty bringing around due to its big size.

Farewell lunch for Joshua

BUFFET at Furama City Hotel :D for Joshua’s farewell to US.

But I am still not FULL! Feel like I didn’t eat enough, hungry now. Think I ate the deserts too fast. But they were yummy! Surprised by the fact that my first plate of food didn’t make me feel bloated :) The key factor to buffet is to eat slowly! But we only get 2.5hrs to eat. Not enough! The thing I don’t like is that there isn’t any drinks, except plain water, coffee and tea. But that’s a good thing too, then I won’t be filled by the soft drinks either.

Anyway it was a very rare occasion to gather all these people together! Cause half live in East, and the other live in North West. Didn’t set my camera settings properly, this is the only photo with good lighting. The others were a little dark. Sigh, slap myself.

Started to fool around with my camera outside the hotel. Haha.

Went for Alice in Wonderland Gala Premiere at Shaw Lido yesterday! Hehe won tickets from inSing describing your favourite character contest. Haha I said Mad Hatter, and this was what i wrote: “The appearance of the character itself is appealing to me, as it had shown the wildest imagination of the story. The way Hatter gives aid to Alice is really how I would like to see the story transforms and evolves on the way. He's way of comic relief is going to be the PLUS PLUS point of me watching this movie!”

The queue to enter the cinema was so freaking long man. My bro and I almost finished half the cup of drink we’ve bought before entering. Think the movie was okay, since the plot was rather predictable.

Stay over at my house, NATAS Travel Fair

I owe this place an update!

Last Thur had a stay over at my house as Mum went Vietnam to meet her classmate on a tour. Left me and Bro at home! The gamblers were me, Jin Wen, Jin Tong, Yun Xiu and lastly Nicole (Who brought nice supper for us, and kept eating. Heh) Played a few rounds of MJ while waiting for Nicole to arrive and then we played Cooking Mama on Wii. It was hilarious watching them play… After Yun Xiu left, the rest of us MJed all the way to 6am, listening to K pop. Wanted to eat breakfast at WS Macs, but by the time we walk there, the rest decided not to eat and wanted to sleep, so I walked home alone.

It was quite crazy as on Fri I had to work at NATAS fair! So after I came home, took a quick nap for like 30min and went to Expo.

NATAS travel fair was a totally different experience from all the sales I have done before. Do more talking then selling the packages, there were too little % of selling packages when there are so many competitors there. First 2 days were more of enquires then buying. There was this 2 part timers who kept stealing our customers and leeching on the full timers, most of us were complaining about them during breaks. The way they get our customers is when we get our customers and refer them to take a seat, the 2 of them (quite big size also), wouldn’t budge from the seats and start talking to our customers = =

Nevertheless, the fun part was doing Mobile Sales (and also when we talk people into buying the packages), as we were like going for shopping trip around the 2 halls. Haha me and Joshua kept walking to the Taiwan Tourism Board area, looking out for things to help our planning-in-progress Taiwan Trip. Then I realised that there was dance performance and realise that the crew, TBC (The Best Crew), was the one performing. OMG 柏青老師 is there! His moves were superb and clean. Freaking jealous… Go back Taiwan must get a dance studio to go to, see whether can learn my breaking. Hehe plucked up courage to get a group shot with the crew after their performance.

Got to know more friends, especially Taiwanese also. So fun, but tiring. Somemore I slept at 2am yesterday = =

Trip to Taiwan

For the moment planning to go back to Taiwan in April, to learn driving there. Cost is about less than half of that when learning in Singapore. But everyday is only 1 lesson 50min, when I go back, shall try to negotiate to learn it faster. And I realised I should find a dance studio while I’m there, lessons are also cheaper than Singapore. However JiuMa’s house seems a little far away from the city where Dance Soul’s studio is (the one with 大目老師). Unless I have personal transport like a Bike or Car, which is only after I get my license. Tempted to go for this, female breaking lessons by Black Angle Crew:

It is all the way at 台中. Although parents got a house there, but it is rented to others. If I go there, I will have to stay in XiaoGu’s house. Not even sure if it is going to be convenient to travel to the studio.

Planning trip to Taiwan and asking Yun Xiu, Cheryl, Nicole along. Going to 高雄 and 澎湖. But Nicole is a little unwilling cause she just went to Taiwan with her class in Dec 2009, and the transport costs are a little high as we have to travel far north to the two places. Shall try to optimise the costs and have maximum fun. Hopefully it’ll work out soon…

Tidying up

Chinese New Year is coming! And so is Valentines day!

Went to cut my hair again by ~~order~~ instruction of Mum, around 1 week ago. The lady only spent 15 min cutting my hair –.- I feel that its still relatively long, but she use shaving technique on one side of the hair, looks a little like Show’s previous hair. Then I dyed my hair, got Mum’s friend to dye it with Gatsby Self-dye Ash Latte :D. Haha me and Mum used only the dye together, so in the end my hair was dyed in a highlight manner :)

Anyway, I finally finished my contract as Chinese New Year Ambassador at OCBC Ion Orchard branch. Actually I ended the contract early. But had a fun, interesting experience, although standing for 6 hrs is really tiring, and I’ve got blood clot in my big toe ): Will go back and visit them one day, and I need to collect my White Leather Bracelet I bought, one day when they were slacking and looking at some online shop.

Started to tidy up my things (I tried!). Last weekend took some time to throw everything from my drawers out and clear the things. But until halfway I couldn’t think properly where I should put some of the things and it was left lying on my floor for at least 3 days, before I threw them back into one of the drawers just now. Sigh, will go and take it out and arrange again tomorrow.

There’s guests from Taiwan this year, I think Dad’s client. Anyway they helped to bring JiuJiu’s oranges from his plantation over! Mum told JiuJiu to post it to their house and brought them over. They also bought Milk Guavas and Jujubes! Yummy fruits for the festive season! Some years ago JiuJiu couriered over his oranges, and they were fantastic! So happy to get them for this year! Promised Nicole I will leave some oranges for her, cause the last Taiwan trip, she visited the plantation. But there’s not a lot left as Mum gave it to her friends :( But never mind, I’ll savour the rest :)

Last Sat and Sun I spent by taking up job as Temp GPS promoter at Expo Gain City Fair. Was a good experience for me by operating simulations and explaining the plus points to customers, convincing them to buy the GPS. Except that I had to stand from 12-9pm and talking almost non-stop, either giving out the flyers or demonstrating. My voice disappeared and became very sexy, especially when I try to sing. Sun I went off at 5pm due to Piano Theory lesson at Toa Payoh. Anyway I sold around 12 devices for each day, so in the end the pay was rather good :D

Piano Theory lesson was okay, teaching Renaissance, I have not been listening to lessons for quite some time and it took more time to digest all the music stuffs after not touching it for quite a long time. I need to really know how to listen out to the notes and identify them man. My teacher was singing out the melody of the example and one of the younger student said that the note should be F sharp, not F. I was like “WAH, so pro can hear. *Envious*”

Started another work on Wed, OCBC CNY Ambassador, for 1 month, 11-17.30. I’m posted to ION Orchard branch. Helping out with all the new notes exchanging stuffs, crowd control, distribute Red Packets, handle enquires. But normally the new notes are changed out in 2 hours, so the rest of the 4 hours just stand there, “stone” and greet customers. When distributing the Red Packets, then you see all the aunties in action already. Haha, but at least the 4 hours there’s this very entertaining PFC at my branch. Oh and the SA’s there were nice too :D We found out that 3 of us, our birthdays are May 17, 18 and 19 (mine). So coincidental :)

ECP cycling

Cycling trip to ECP with 4G people at 4pm. Actually I wanted to rollerblade, as I cycle to the MRT everyday. But then the rollerblades cost $10 the 1st hour and $7 the 2nd hour. Why so expensive? After starting to cycle, there were other rental stalls for around $7 for 2 hours!

Jonathan said to have dinner at Big Splash, when our bike rental was at Mcdonalds area, thus having a long walk, and my ankle was feeling a little sore by then. Met up with Nicole and then finally they decided to go to PP for dinner. After exiting from the underpass, we had a little adventure like this, as we turned to the wrong side:

Talked a lot during dinner, at New York New York, especially on Nicole’s job, selling laptops and we started talking about specs of the laptops and which should be worth buying. Haha. After dinner, walking to bus stop, Me Nicole Jin Wen started on talking about overseas trip. Talk until so “agitated”. I’m glad we had a day out again, after the various busy schedule each of us had. I love catching up with my friends!

Working as a receptionist

Today is my last day working with SAP as a receptionist since both the in charge are finally back. But they took like almost 2 hrs for lunch (since it was a rare occasion that they can go for lunch TOGETHER) and one came back with a $200 bag –.- I was super hungry!

Anyway, although the job was quite slack, I still learnt quite a number of stuffs, especially listening to phone calls and understanding the English language said by different accent. Overall the experience was not bad since those guiding me along the way were nice and friendly.

Well time to go off looking for another job! I just asked my god-sis if I could go for an interview at her place. Haha but then her factory and showroom is all the way at the west of Singapore, unless I stay at her house or something, if not my bus fare will be SO EXPENSIVE! (I spend $1.57 everyday for one trip from Pasir Ris to Newton T.T)

Visit to Mrs Tng

"Surprised" her by bringing 3 more people along, when I initialy told her that I would go alone.
Had nice talks, looking back at our primary school photos and Exam essays.
Had another lesson on life (cause at the end talking about BGR)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! IT'S 2010!
Spent New Year's Eve working and night going to Jolene Lai's house.
Played mahjong at Jolene's house with Jasvin, Nicole and Grace.
Grace sort of just started touching mahjong.
Played mahjong and watching康熙上海show.
Minutes before 12am, Jolene switched the channel to 5 and turned down the volume of the TV at stroke of midnight to hear people counting down loudly and then screaming outside.

Mahjong at first we just anyhow play, and I won like whole of the東風round at the start.
Then decided to play with money chips.
Got one round I won $3.20x3=$9.60 due to 碰碰胡, 自摸, 滿台. Then after that let Nicole play before she goes home as she had work the next day. She didn't really continue my winning streak.
After she left, continued playing until 2 or 3am like that. Muhahaha at the end of the game, won $4.20, too bad it wasn't real money. But my手氣was not bad for the day.
Then we started playing poker, and I lost totally. Haha not good in poker.
Then memory games with cards, until around 4am when i started dozing off while they were playing成語接龍, they were making funny sentences instead.

Slept till 9am and came home.
I started catching up with shows that I've recorded on my Hubstation.
After lunch went back to sleep until 5pm.

Such a slacker I am, supposed to play the piano.

Jazreen housewarming, Primary school gathering

Went to Ee Chow's house to meet up him and Jon Teo (the army boy who just came out of confinement) before setting out to Jazreen's house.
But when I got there, Mr Ee Chow was still bathing, and according to Jon Teo, he had bathed for almost an hour. So stone there and see Jon Teo's botak head. He's finally a little darker, and feels that he has more firm arms. Haha
Took 12 to Expo, and I was telling them we could have stopped at the last stop in Simei, but Justus told them to drop at Expo. The result was me crossing the grass patch opposite Expo to get to Jazreen's house. And in the end I had cuts on my legs by the grasses. I was wearing shorts, and Jon Teo wearing jeans. So I was the only only who got hurt by walking the "shortcut"

Anyway Jazreen's house is quite big, and she seriously got a big wardrobe can.
Su Yun was the earliest anyway, then we started eating. Jon Teo's appetite didn't change a bit. Stuffing fried prawns into his mouth like he didn't get good food inside camp.
After that went to Jazreen's sister's room and started playing Cluedo, then Polar Beer, then Sherad (what's the spelling anyway?), then started drawing and guessing, laughing maniacly at the drawings by some of us also.

Went for primary school gathering near the area, turn out wasn't very great. We've got like 18 out of 80 from the A and B class appearing. But at least I got to see some of closer friends last time. It was great to see those who have changed alot and those who have not changed much.
Stoned for some time, as we have not met in a period of 6 years, got nothing to talk about. I'm glad I managed to get some topics to talk about :D
Anyway I got to plan a visit to Mrs Tng also...

Ee Chow only wanted to go for half hour, but in the end we stayed for almost 3 hours before returning to Jazreen's house (Jon Teo complained about that).

Merry Christmas!
Let's see what I've did for Christmas.

Yesterday I went to Taka with mum after work as she wanted to buy shoe (some sale going on).
Then walked around Orchard. Coke was doing some kind of promotion by giving out 250ml glass bottled Coke in front of Shaw House. Before giving out they were saying you can experience Coke with all your 5 senses and they started promoting before giving them out.

Saw a genius put the cold Coke bottle into their shopping bag (apparently Taka's paper bag) and then shortly after, the glass bottle broke, as it tore through the wet corner of the paper bag.

Nothing much just walking around. But there's this big christmas tree in front of ION orchard in which you can go INTO the tree.

It was very bright inside.

I don't like walking much now, especially with flat shoes, as it makes my feet and ankle pain.
Apparently I was told my feet has inner pronation and has to get some thingy that will cost around $300 to support and thus help to change the structure of the feet to make it normal.
But I don't think I'll get to use it often as my shoes now are too "shallow" for the support to be put in.
Back to the post...

I forgot to put some muscle ache rub before I went out today, due to excessive walking the previous night, my thighs hurt. Which reminds me of how long I have not excercised, 2 whole months man. Gained weight during the trip to Indonesia somemore, sigh my "pacs" disappearing. HAHA!

I'm digressing alot I realised.

Anyway, went out with some old friends to watch Sherlock Holmes today.
Crowded place it was in Cathay Cineleisure, in the end we sat at the first row to watch the movie (don't know whose genius' idea it was), by the time the movie finished and I stood up, I was kinda dizzy and a bit like a drunkard.
It was an interesting movie, considering I've always liked to see how people solve mysteries and watching Holmes in awe at the way he notices little details and still having his sense of humor.
I especially liked the part when he analyse how he should fight his enemy and the results of hitting the body parts of the enemy, in slow motion, and then the film returns to normal speed of the fight after that.
Not a bad movie to watch :)
End of movie we went walking around Orchard for a while and some snapping some shots, then came home.
Quite boring eh.

Tomorrow going Jazreen's house for her house warming in the afternoon and primary school gathering at night!
Hopefully the turn out for primary school gathering would be good. Can't wait to see them and their changes. Heh.

I'm bored, thus I'm making this post.
Left those nails for 2 months, time to cut them and start practicing piano.
Teacher plans to let me take in July-Sep 2010.
Fine, all the nails on the right hand broke already, there's one last nail standing though.

I realised there's a blue-black in my toe, due to shoes that I wear to work which is cheap stuff from the market in the neighbourhood. It doesn't seem to be disappearing any time soon...

Samsung ST550 camera

Wheeee, just received my free Samsung ST550 camera that I've won from Samsung's facebook contest :D (finally something)

It's red colour. I was hoping for some more special colours though (there's gold and purple too), however there's no choice you can have for the colour of the camera you can get.

Its flown from Samsung Korea by DHL, and the invoice states that the camera costs USD$200 (its SG$549 at courts). WAH...

Mum was thinking of buying a new camera to replace the one I have currently as it pixelates frequently when I don't use flash. But there's no need now :))

From 7.2 megapixels, the new camera is 12.0 megapixels, touchscreen and has a mini front screen, especially good when camwhoring (HEHE) and during timer mode.

Shall start blogging in proper English now on. (trying hard)

I'm back from Indonesia!
It was great in the mountains with beautiful scenery and it felt like a geography trip.
But it also reminded me and made me miss Taiwan also.
I think I've gained at least 2kg man, with all the sumptous indonesia meals, and heaty fried food and fruits.
Losing my voice soon, and I just remembered that my job as receptionist needs my voice alot!

Shall find time to update the full details soon, when I sort out the photos :D and after i recharge.

my job is quite relaxing after u get the hang of it.
especially most afternoons are silent, shall find something more meaningful to do by then.

going indonesia surabaya for my dad's friends' daughter's wedding.
then after that dad's friend gonna bring us arnd, especially the mountains.
heard there's gonna be horse riding on the way to view a volcano. so exciting.

but thn i didn't tell my parents early that i might get in the CokeSG AVATAR competition (treasure hunt at orchard road), as the results were only released on dec 8, which is going to be held on this sat.
they booked the ticket to surabaya for dec 12 in the morning of dec 8.
sigh, there is xbox live and avatar gold class movie tickets up for grabs.
just have to go watch the movie after i come back. (haha i suddenly rmb my gobsis yahui promised to bring me to a movie :D)

m'sia shopping and grad day

went malaysia JB city square shopping centre ytd with my mum and bro.
walked alot until legs die liaos.
took public transport early at 8am and returned frm there at 9pm.
didn't buy much as usual but i finally got my vest, and it was only found before returning to singapore.
got my hair cut there as there was some rebate voucher i took at the entrance of the shopping mall and to attend graduation day with a nicer and something like me hairstyle.
the previous 2 mths hair i got, was by my mum's friend who was still a beginner hairstylist seriously doesn't look like me at all...

but well grad day today was okay, didn't get to take much photos as had to fetch my dad frm airport after noon.
my hair didn't turn out as nice in photos though, making my face look so fat.
some said too short liaos only the fringe very long. haha nicholas didn't say i look like a guy this time :))

6 years in DHS finally to a big full stop, the ps note coming up in march. and i hope i will get my A's and be happy when i return to taiwan...

A levels finally finish for me liaos.

physics paper 1 started out being abit hard, thn will start to be nervous. Guessed for some qns (or maybe alot...)

everyone seems to be shopping, especially for prom stuffs.

decided not to go prom, cause i think i can't dress up properly for it either, not really wanting to put on a dress (feel uneasy in it), make up...

wanna get my hair done up nicely though.

if i go in some guyish outfit, ppl around me will scold me for sure.

but i dunno how to dress up in a cool and still look feminine kind... sigh need a fashionist to help me. meh...

i'm just lazying around, trying to complete my to-do list.

sent out a couple of resume last week, but no reply till now...

last day of school

2009 Oct 16th!
its the last day of 6 years in DHS, and proper education system.
wow. time flew fast and certainly everyone has changed in their own ways.

20+ days to A level and its the final lap to end the long marathon by giving our best shot and drill ourselves with all the notes and practice papers.

the farewell ceremony by the teachers was certainly great. what the teachers had done and said are certainly are motivational/inspiring, and it is up to us now to return them the efforts they have put in to push us so far.
it is sad that we'll have to part for now, but we still have graduation ceremony to look forward to.
AND mr jason ng and mr ken leong came back from HQ! caused an uproar in the auditorium although they entered from the top entrance. didn't get to talk to them much, but it was great to see them again.
BUT mr sng told us in the morning that he is being called back to HQ. 5 years being the principal of DHS, and he taught us alot, from the morning flag raising short speeches, to assembly talks, he let us understood alot of philisophies and motivates us. many of us will miss him, although we will be leaving together.

i forgot to bring my camera and the book for ppl to write messages in but the class totally cam-whored the whole time after the farewell ceremony still. memories are stored in all those snapshots of time, and indeed picture speaks a thousand words. i better remember to bring my camera and the book for graduation ceremony and everyone whom i know, please ask me for the book and write me messages and let me take picture tgt. hope mr ng and mr leong comes back again so that they can write too (i realise i don't have sec 4 teacher's ones too, must get them to write too!)

ALL THE BEST TO CLASS OF 2009 FOR A LEVELS (let's earn the school holiday next year :D)

had been following this treasure hunt on facebook on the first day it started, haven win anything from it yet D:, but was one of the top 4 finalists to fight for a canon ixus 100is but i lost out in votes. oh well. still got sony t90 cam, i want it!

today go ecp join their outdoor hunt, walk frm sch all the way to the road safety park, yellow light house there. the task was to find no 22, after 37 rowcalled their no and mixed themselves up. ironically, i rmb 23 as that guy was rather tallllll. in the end, when the refree blow the whistle to start, this guy made a beeline for 22 straight away and the hunt ended, in less than 10s = =.
my leg going to break alrdy, as i had to walk to marine parade to take bus 12 home.

the $10k hunt is this saturday, who wanna team???

these few days saw alot of news on the typhoon morakot that hit taiwan so badly on father's day aug 8.
so many ppl are still trapped in the ruined areas.
and heros that sacrificed while risking their lifes to save the others.
i don't know how can i help, don't know if there is a place that i can gather ppl and give help to taiwan (maybe donations?)
hope that more ppl will be rescued quickly and taiwan to recover from the disaster soon.

this is great. mugging all day.

had piano master class at teacher's hse ytd.
my fingers became fat cause of the excessive sweating of my hand, as it was rather stuffy so i couldn't play very well. haha
in the end played my piece too slow. teacher was saying the previous day lesson i was playing too fast.
my notes all gone haywire and my tempo. such a disgrace of myself.
saw other younger friends there, they grow like tremendously fast, couldn't recognise them somemore. haha
joshua quit school and is preparing for SAT to go US alrdy. now my bro has to think abt the same problem if he doesn't wanna be singaporean too.

ytd night go bowling after dinner.
i seriously think my bowling sucks, and my bro give up teaching me oso.
sigh.

flopped centerstage audition by straining my second 假音, was nervous when i stepped in.
the judge asked me whether i was frm choir. is that good or bad? haha
the person who brought me in opened the door after i finished, so i dint know if i was suppose to stay for any comments and left the room.
well due to that flaw, didn't get into the finale.
all the best to the finalists!
i might consider gng to watch.

and i'm not going D'Prom 2009. so expensive!
$80 and plus all the dress, accessories, make up, how much will i end up spending man?
and are we just gonna sit around the table, and girls having such unconvinient wear to do anything.
rather save it for overseas trips after doing well for A levels man.

just came back frm 3 games of bowling with valentia, kennard, kenneth tan (who did not play)
got my postures corrected and i'm playing better by the 3rd game, hitting 100+
luckily got them, if not i will be playing lousy like forever, without realising the mistakes i make.
my bro says i'm trying to fly before learning how to walk, cause i'm doing handshakes to spin ball rather thn bowling straight balls.
but whatever, i'm improving since i re-learnt how to bowl in the correct bowling methods :D

today went to watch movie with nicholas, justus and jia jun.

a little weird combi, but the H2 still had econs case study tmr, so they couldn't join. awwww

nice movie with alot of F word throughout. i think those movies are classified to NC16 due to these languages.

but overall, its freaking FUNNY!!!

walked around far east plaza after the movie and i went home first, since the guys still wanted to shop.

screw myself.
lagging behind schedule like 4 days?!
omg omg omg, like need to go sleepless alrdy.
now my nose got prob somemore. want to sneeze but cannot.

went for kirin sports carnival trng yesterday. the no of ppl turing up is counted as pathetic, considering our house has the most peeps?
running around made my ankle pain again. zzz both ankles somemore.
after the trng ended, went to watch bowling at the alley while waiting for my mum and bro to reach to eat dinner tgt.
in the end i dunno what they were doing at home, until i waited i think for almost 1hr. and met kennard as he came to bowl too.
the people on the waiting list were super long, haha dint know he was going, if not i could help him take the waiting queue no for him first. haha

went for dinner at JustAcia, set meal plus free flow of drinks and ice cream. hahaha overall i think the food not bad.
went to bowl with my bro after that, seeing kennard and kenneth still bowling. haha
joined their lane and bowled.
i bowled like shit, my bro's bowling had consistency wors. bowled till quite late.
luckily kennard pointed out that i dint have my wrist under the ball ie cupping the ball
must thrash jon teo this wk when we go for bowling!

mugging

mugging is seriously such a difficult task for me now.
but now my mugging is just maybe catching up with the stuffs first
spent one week on the maths revision package on binomial, poission and normal distributions.
getting stuck in so many qns.

I NEED TO REPLAN MY SCHEDULE!!!
the current schedule has gone off course. i need something to fix.
thn there's not enough time to finish ALL revision and practice.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
freaking screwed~

lets talk about some updates for me to slack on.

TUE went sch for maths lecture, which i wasn't very keen on going, if not for the econs case study test that has to be done in wk 1 of holidays.
turned out that the teachers were on course and only return to sch after 1pm.
by thn i had to go with kennard to meet elysia to mug at parkway.
so after maths lect and to spend time before going parkway, we went to mug in the sch library
thn went to parkway for lunch with kennard, justus and nicholas.
wanted to go swensens but the queue was just too long. ended up in food court.
so the mugging session at parkway library was somewhat productive
learnt how to use the TI for some functions after consulting elysia. hahaha
i was a little sianed and everyone was tired of mugging and thn we went to KLP and we bowled.
elysia totally owned us with 95. the lane seriously very lousy.
kennard got 83 as he strike in one of the last few frames. and i got 80.
thn we went home, after a stop at the foodcourt.
had a massive headache after walking in the big hot sun in the afternoon. must be some heatstroke.
i almost "died" on the bus home as a result.

FRIDAY (yesterday) went to botanic gardens for CIP - volunteering for Kits4Kids' family kid bonding session.
luckily i brought along cap, if not i'll die of another heat stroke.
the weather is seriously haywire haywire haywire.
but i dint bring towel. i was seriously quite smelly after whole day standing in the sun and sweating like mad.
but we had class interaction after their activities ended and they were eating, by playing frisbee!
haha it was quite fun with the actions and reactions.
the sch still had food after their picnic and offered us to eat some. and my lunch was sort of settled. haha
wanted to go the national orchid garden, but everyone wanted to leave aft the event for lunch.
went back to sch after lunch at the foodcourt in mr lim's car. 1.6cc with 4 ppl seated at the backseat, cause band ppl had to go back to sch for performance and me had to go back for econs case study test (where actually i could take on THUR because there was a econs tutorial which i didn't know cause i didn't check moodle on wed.zzz )
but along the way it was fun listening to the guys talk.
met nicole in the sch library before the test as i couldn't find mr koh yet.
aft her econs tutorial and taking my case study test concurrently, we began mugging. which i was not very productive. haha
went to tampines to shop after that, until my legs hurt. due to excessive standing in the mrng and excessive walking in tampines.

i woke up today with a still hurting leg, felt like it cramped.
time to go prac piano again for lesson later!

thn there was something abt the bballer reflection. it's still very very meaningful.

18 years, another chapter in life.
the year to take A levels and get a little more freedom. want to go and learn driving asap!
but A level is the most impt thingy now. work harder and harder and harder.

its 10 days with my dad now.
dad is often overseas and sometimes he comes back somehow makes everything into a mess.
hopefully everything gets along fine.
mugging spree has to start asap. competitions are all over and no more excuses alrdy. (but i don't seem to have that mindset for mugging yet :/)

i think my mum is happy that we lost to tjc. meaning that i wont be playing bball anymore = = as we didn't get into semi-finals (top 4)

till now i still think we still had the ability to win tj and nj. just that we started out not being able to execute what coach wanted.
but the match against tj was the best. seeing everyone going after the ball, in regards of rebouds, hussling.

i still have the tinge of disappointment in me. i wanted to win them, and i believed we could.
my shots after getting rebounds were either too hard or too soft. my free throw accuracy was like 50% only. there were quite a number of opened baskets for us to scores, but we missed them still. that few baskets could have made that difference.

we've tried, but lady luck just wasn't on our side. or isit cause our skills dropped during the match, or we didnt do our best of the best??
during trngs we can do the needed moves, what happens in matches?
this reminds me of studies, i can know the answers during tutorials, but what happens during exams and test?
its how we perform when faced with the direct pressure of getting what we really want.
we had a gd chance this yr, with favorable lots, but we didn't grab that chance fully.
everything is unpredictable~ sigh~ 飲恨~
but we gave what we can on the court already!
i believe nxt yr bball team will be able to get to top 4. ALL THE BEST!

but this mth's journey in bball competition have made me realise more.
my passion for bball that i found back, on the court during competition.
playing bball to attain the aim we wanted.
playing with teammates that likes bball too and knowing them.
the hardwork to put in for what we really wanted.

yay we won yjc, 59-23!
but thn we didn't do very well in the last quarter.
communication break down and misunderstanding.
time flew like we were in the 2nd quarter while i thought that it was still the 1st.
was super tired having choinged for the 1st quarter, my stamina really sucks.
after that i drank way too much water that my stomach felt so weird when running around during the 3rd and 4th quarter.
it feels good to be on the court playing, although being so tired.
my speed to go into defense and attack really bad...
comint is pro (although she wasn't exactly allowed to play for the match), once she go on court, she was super on form, her fakes and shots. IMBA

saw elysia benching at tjc match. when i saw tjc playing i thn rmbed elysia was in the bball team too. haha. saw liang kai too, and he has grown even taller.

wushu comp has ended on wed.
i shi wu again! by forgetting my dao1 routine AGAIN, and influenced liyang, and she feels very sad after the event, but i have my part to play, cause i'm sort of her reference person.
as a result, A'div got nothing for overall.
this year i did super lousy. it is my last year, and i wanted very much to do well.
by like what sam said, it is the process that matters more thn winning.
i had enjoyed wushu to its fullest alrdy.

ytd went for the first bball training, gna play centre most probably.
it seems that i'm making ppl fall when doing defense.
sorry to the teammates that i caused injuries to!
today we did attack and my stamina is really NO GOOD. zzzz how to survive a match like that (if i get to really join the team for nationals)

more and more work are piling on me and i have to quickly find a way to handle them efficiently.
i'm running low in energy now, being really strained physically by bball.
but thn bball is still fun! it seems to have more meaning when u are actually training for it.

finally a silver for my last routine, cudgel, which i think the whole A girls cudgel (1st int) screwed it up, except the one who got gold. she did so safely. i forgot my routine half way, got jumbled up.
luckly the front wasn't that up to standard that i could get my silver.
well last to buck up for jiti. hopefully gold to DHS A girls. haha thn get something in overall.

carrer day on thur and getting back PW results.

have to work harder for other subjects to get good results with straight A's on my A level certificate.

today a little haywire. brought wrong notes for chem lect thinking that the previous topic was done. brian pratically didn't know that he had an event to compete in today. during competition, they changed the courts name AFTER we tried on the carpet we were supposed to compete in. got gastric BEFORE my competition.

today's event changquan (1st intl) got 5th out of 9 :(
felt that i din't give 100% of my strength, after completing, din't feel as tired as before. got 8.01, lost by 0.04 to 4th :(( I DIDN'T 站穩 AT 平衡!
but generally DHS WUSHU did not bad for the 1st day.

mr sng gave us an early briefing on the a level results today.
10 plus out of the 121 cohort of our seniors got 7 or 8 distinctions (correct me if i'm wrong)
and thn GP gave us target setting for the A levels too, and we have to start meeting the standards starting from common test. ya and our seniors almost set the record of the school having 100% passes for A level, but apparently one of our seniors got S i think.
gahhhhaaa, i need to have more knowledge about the world now, and finishing all my tutorials tgt. my physics is lagging like crazy? and there's phy test on fri which i know near 0 about the 2 topics now, haven really read.

anw elysia and cheng feng came to visit us, since they got half day off for their sch's result too. caught up with alot of things i guess :)

there was one day where i laughed for 2 hrs during physics lab period (obviously i dint listen to the tutor. ooops!).
there was one day where we went for GP movie "slumdog millionare" at marina sq GV, where i was running late as i was waiting for elysia and cheng feng to come visit us at dhs! i didnt make myself clear and elysia thought we were watching the movie in school. haha but nevertheless, they got to see some of CO and choir ppl, who were in sch practicing.

i cant rmb anything else...

oh ya. I GUO4 CE1 KONG1 :) not really perfect cause my legs weren't straight when i landed. anw its cartwheel w/o hand :))

wushu was fine tdy, did whole routine for gun4 - cudgel. wasn't very familiar with the routine though, sians. must prac more for gun4.

cny 2009

this year cny came early and me and my family decided to spend the cny holidays in malaysia with my god father and god-sisters n their family.

malaysia port dickson. stayed in the resort, avillion, for almost everyday. and it was FUN!!! get to swim, suntan, play games, hang around chatting! its just to relax after whatever had happened. and for me, a little something before i start choinging for A LEVELS! i think i was getting some serious workout, swimming everyday, playing with the kids, and played tennis there. in the end i still gained weight, cause our breakfast for 3 days was buffet style!

hehe i got sunburnt on my back, now the swimsuit outline is SUPER obvious. my arms are like brown :) but i think i'll turn back white soon. my mum scolded me for getting sun burnt.

i missed the sch's cny celebration btw, cause it was a last min decision to stay in malaysia for another day.

this christmas feel different. with everything whirling around me and so many things happening.

actually early mrng wanted to climb bukit timah hill with my godfather, but he just went too early. haha and i took quite a while at home. but me and my family still climbed the hill! the feeling was vry different, cause i couldn't rmb what happened when i climbed the hill when i was extremely small, like nursery?

thn went back to my godfather's hse, where my parents and him chatted and me and my bro stone, cause my godsis went to church and had lunch outside. haha. but we had a plan for the evening: picnic at botanic gardens!

it has been ages since i had a picnic. and its FABULOUS! although there weren't alot of food, but it was still filling. thn went to climb tree that is in the background of the photo with my niece and nephew, guiding them how to climb up the tree.

so many things undone...

memorial

the past few days was traveling from the east to the west, attending the memorial service for my godmother.
mummy left with a perfect ending, 十全十美, at 10:10 on dec 11 and didn't leave behind any regrets cause her life was filled with joy and laughter.
everytime i visit her, she's always having this smile on her face, nvr once saw her being unhappy. she had a loving husband, 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren.
and i'm glad that she took me as her goddaughter and gave great care and help to my mum too when we just came to singapore.
was telling myself not to cry during the services, but at the last night, seeing those 3 kids crying, i couldn't control myself somehow. it feels like i don't have the ability to do something or help out.
theres still too many things that i feel about, but i dunno how to express.

but well time for us all to get a grip and continue on with life.

taiwan trip

okay the taiwan update after so long. was rather lazy. haha
i didn't take alot of pictures during the trip, haha dunno when i will see the others to get the rest of the pict!!

DAY 1
reached at 6pm, the smell of taiwan air rocks!!! :D
after taking a long bus ride to the hostel and checking in, we went walk walk for dinner and thn kenna conned. the dinner wasn't really tasty but was rather exp. went back early cause the next day was gng to somewhere a little further to my san jiu ma side at 中壢.

DAY 2
went to cut hair, and everyone had a nice hair cut. haha although the walk to the salon was rather long. my jiu ma came soon after we reached the salon, nicole say she look very young, like the hair salon's stylist. haha. thn spending a SUPER long time at the salon, with 7 people cutting their hair with only 2 stylist. ended like at 3pm?! and only had our lunch on the car as we headed to the mountains, where my grandparents live. 9 people plus my jiu ma in a 7 seater car, squeezing. almost all slept during the journey, too high in the mrng alrdy.
reaching the mountains, first thing went to my da jiu jiu's orange farm.

i think they had fun! cause in sgp you will nvr get to do this kind of thing. aft that met my grandparents, they seem happy!
at night back to my san jiu ma's place, and went to play with pipi, my cousin's dog. only two didnt, the siblings, both scared of dogs = =
thn we went to our first ye shi trip. haha. took a late train back to taipei.

DAY 3
start of shopping trip! yay shopping is so fun, went to 五分埔. but went there too early, haha the stores weren't open, as we were split into two big grp, me jolene nicole and shermaine didn't buy much. but aft lunch and going for the second round with all shops opened, we seemed to have bought too much. its like spending all the money away already. i bought a nice bright green sling bag aft much thought with jolene buying the yellow design one first.
at night we went to the famous 士林夜市. haha not all came, only me nicole and jolene. we went to explore first. so long nvr go there, food are still as good.

DAY 4

weird jump!
went to dong qu, but with no shou1 huo4, there was nothing much. wanted to go sing at first but most didn't feel like.
went to 西門町 after feeling so bored. after the wu fen pu, i didn't buy much alrdy cause of the slingbag i bought. but the best thing is we saw su you peng 蘇有朋 :D shuai and tall. jolene wanted to take a photo tgt but thn my bag leaked with the bottle i nvr cap properly. oooopppss.

DAY 5
nxt day early mrng went to buy breakfast for the other, plus warming up some left over food.

thn just below our hostel, there was JJ's qian chang hui! hehe~
got an album for cheryl as her bdae present. talked to him!
aft the event went to 淡水.

the evening had nice skyline!

had a large difficulty by us in taking a nicole picture. haha and we finally got it. the sisters!
at night went shi lin ye shi AGAIN! with more ppl, shermaine and shea jean. played games this time.

DAY 6
convinced my cousin to bring us out, and he totally forgot about it when i called him the previous days, although i told him very early. went this 台灣故事區 that was right beside our hostel, which we totally didn't notice.

a bunch of naughty kids not listening to class.

fishing so fun. got shuai ge somemore.

thn there was zhuo wen xuan's qian chang hui too. but the amount of ppl were not as much as JJ's. the red carpet was for her to come in riding on a horse, but we didn't wait for her to come out. cause we went to 龍山寺.

thn after that we all went to SING!!! nicole and sheajean finally got their dream come true!
haha, shermaine say she like my singing! i was rather happy! haha thn nicole bu shuang alrdy.
last night in taipei, decided to spend the night at shi lin ye shi again. the game stall con our money. but played quite late into the night.

DAY 7
spent the morning exploring the underground mall and mainly arcade there, they spammed their coins through out the trip with the basketball machine and the doll catching machine.
left with a happy but very she bu de. all played their hearts out.
reached back home near 12am.

it was a reallly reallly reallly fun trip! :DD

physics r-paper was over last friday. i think it was relatively easy. maybe cause i finally studied physics and got some super exp tuition ($$ fly)

went queensway shopping centre ytd after visiting my godmother. her condition seems to be worse. hope she's will win the battle against those cancer cells. well back to queensway, my god sister-in-law recommended a shop that he always go to, so we just went to that shop. my mum needed to buy a new pair of sports shoes, and thus i was looking at adidas superstars. too bad there was only one design with two different colour, one green the other red-pink. and i cant beleive i got the red-pink one. haha. maybe i'm really getting more feminine after the taiwan trip. LOL.

have been spending the days after physics r-paper which is abt 2 days playing what maplestory. haha, playing some cheat game cause its the cheat version. i'm like lvl 140+ after only these 2 days, with some help from my bro playing the acc too. but thn i finished the gp vocab homework this mrng. quite an accomplishment, 22 pages from A-Z. haha.

i feel slpy alrdy, nth to do. lazy to do the homework.
but i shall resume all the homework, morning run that i've planned quite long ago, and my piano hopefully successfully tmr =D

being a mugger really has no life. although i slacked off alot doing nth after only studying like 30-45min. life's a bore.
imagine myself nxt year studying all day. can die. but to do well, you'll hafta put in the effort first. and i hafta stop slacking that much and sit through straight few hours to study man.

went out on sunday for belated celebration of cheryl's bdae. met at 2pm and the rest thought that it was quite a bu4 san1 bu4 si4 time so they ate their lunch already. thus only left me and nicole to eat our lunch, while the rest bought drinks. haha. we got cheryl a nice present from taiwan - lin jun jie's poster plus his new album, WITH HIS VERY OWN SIGNATURE. haha i got him to sign a "to cheryl: happy 17th bdae!" :D cause one day during our tw trip, JJ had his qian chang hui directly below our hostel and we attended. haha we talk to him lo :) he has a nice smile and cute dimples :P but well more things abt tw trip aft my phy retest...

still got holiday homework after the retest. and all the revision of other topics. need to buck up chem too. omg this holiday seems so busy. wonder if i can get a job? need the $$ to pay off the one i spent in tw. i'm impecunious!!! (i learnt this vocab from the thick stack of GP homework, finding the meaning of vocabs. that means i'm having little or no money; penniless; poor. zzzzz)

taiwan trip

yo! i'm back from tw trip (11-17 nov)
the trip was ABSOULUTELY FUN! with no adults and only people of same age! i bet the others had a taste of the tw life. either the shopping, ye shi or even the night life there. haha

so the group consisted of me, nicole, shermaine (nicole's cousin), jolene, grace, ching hsien, yujia and shea jean.
and seriously i only know nicole well (hopefully i was) and miraculously i survived the trip well enough. haha. got to know everyone better, and mostly the crazy side.
shermaine was a total stranger and a quiet stranger. haha she gets to laugh at us, doing all those clever or dumb stuffs. but for the last few days she opened up more and interacted with us. showing us the other side.
well she said something very nice that i was very happy about hehe.

hafta continue mugging for that physics retest somehow.
so i wont be blogging about the tw trip till thn.
pls endure and hopefully i still rmb what had happened.
all those fun and interesting stuffs. HAHAHA.

PW IS FINALLY O-V-E-R!!!
got to hand in i&r tdy
ytd presentation was okay. maybe i was abit nervous and shaking at the start, but gradually i got more confident till the end. but i forgot to pose one question which i think is rather impactful if i have said that.
looking at a group from the other class, i realised how mr ng is really good in teaching us the presenation skills - from the slides itself to the presentation mode whereby ur stance, ur guesture and ur eye contact, and that all really gives the audience a different feel towards ur presentation.
haha watched jon teo's presentation, his leg were shaking like crazy. can tell very obviously, and we were laughing =D

went sch early for physics elite force, gahh still haven re-mug finish and i have physics tuition tmr night and better make the best out of it. just got to know tmr got wushu tmr, and i'm abit lazy (going to sch frequently for the week) plus i seriously need to mug.
ran in the rain after lunch, cause we didn't have umbrella, having a headache now. it was worse just now, but i feel abit better now.

time flies so fast. there's physics and piano to concentrate on, and revision for other subjects.
oh well, nxt tue gng back tw with not my family but schoolmates. and its only for 7 days, so short = = but i think we will have fun, although the bunch of ppl i gng with is rather crazy. haha. hopefully can go out with my cousin =)

teachers' day dance

WWWAAAAAAHHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!

dance performance for teachers' day concert was SHIOK!!!
first ever dance performance for me was on this day. YEAH! before going up the stage, my heart was beating so fast. even when i woke up in the morning, the first thing was like "oh my, this is the day!"

the performance of us was good, and we all did our best. but the sad part is the PA system of the school screwed the performance. soon after the dance started, the music hanged. thn nxt the whole performance, there was totally no bass for our songs, only lyrics, totally no background. the effect we wanted, the impact we wanted to make with our dance, was rather missing. it did not turn out as perfect as we thought to be.

but i must say that the audience was rather responsive, i think many of u guys noticed something's wrong abt the music, but u guys still gave us ur supports by cheering out loud for us, and allowing us to present what is best of us. thank you very much.

when i came out with the guys to do the breakdancing moves, i was rather shocked. they were just screaming because another group of ppl came out to dance, but 1 second later, the scream got even louder, like another grp of ppl joined in. and i realised is the year 5s, and many told me because they were super surprised to see me on the stage, so they screamed. HAHA, they say guys came out, then suddenly i was in the middle of the group. thank you guys for the comments after the dance that i was cool (my hair and outfit was cool :) and i liked them) on stage. i know i rushed abit in the dance due to the sudden response, but thanks for the compliments, it really makes my day, and now i'm still smiling, cause the hardwork for staying in the dance room practicing hard until late in school with the dance crew had really paid off.

everyone in the crew was super sad cause the PA screwed the performance. but i need to say THANK YOU to everyone in the dance crew. especially tze lin and the chero team, who allowed me to join the dance crew for this performance, a very special performance in my eyes. i've enjoyed every min of it still, from the practices to the moment on stage. although it didn't work out as planned, but i believe we have done a great job and did our best. thank you for putting in so much effort in making this dance so wonderful and perfect and constant practices and drillings, to make everyone in the crew looking the best on stage. i had a super great time on stage today. i believe that WE WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE THE COMEBACK SOON!

watched incredible Usain BOLT run 100m ytd now. imba-ness. 9.69s, broke the world + olympic record. somemore he got slow down after 50m abit. haha to take alook behind, and thn give his victory sign. seriously crazy. lightning bolt. and i love his golden shoe mans.

tdy mrng finally got to watch Michael Phelps swim. watched his last swim for 4x100m medley swim. the first swimmer dng backstroke was first when the race started, thn the 2nd guy who did breastroke for USA got overtaken by JAPAN. but still, phelps was the man and pulled back to make USA first again with quite a distance after 50m. the last guy also very qiang, mantained the first. so phelps has 8 GOLD medals now. WOW!

i'm waiting for TAEKWONDO to start the coming wed. wanna watch TAIWAN's baseball and taekwondo. hopefully taiwan can mantain their olympic gold for taekwondo where they got in Athens 2004.
later SINGAPORE gonna fight for their gold medal. all the best!

but wk 9 and 10 are like piled up with tests and seriously how to start my revision when promos is like starting on sept 29. gahhhhh

cross country

tdy was cross country at changi beach for dhs national day celebration.
it was quite fun.
started out with a mediacorp artiste coming and sing national day songs with us. thn we had dance performance by "styles from beyond" [i think so] haha fun fun
thn started competitive running for the girls. not bad la, got 12 out of the staff and whole school girls. the first was a sec 1 girl lehs. so got 5th out of year 5. haha lucky.
thn went to learn some moves from the dancers, but seriously track shoes cant dance. i need to get sneakers. wanting to buy nike low dunks or adidas superstar. I WANT SNEAKERS!!!

hi! here to make a quick post.
holidays have passed so fast and the 1st wk of term 3 is gna pass soon.

how times flies. i was enjoying myself in taiwan SO MUCH this time.everyday sleep late and wake up early cause almost everyday go play around.
and this time went to another new place, 澎湖, and island. apparently i have been told to have gone there 16 years ago, but obviously i can't rmb anything much at that time. haha.

there is too much fun there that i cant imagined myself to have in the short 10 days stay and vry difficult to describe. haha took ALOT of pictures this time and its HERE! i think that will be a easier way to see how much fun i really had.

after landing in taiwan that evening, i went to cut my hair =) and surprisingly my bro is willing to cut his too, and it looks kinda cool. better than what he normally cuts la.

flew to penghu like early in the morning, the 2nd day we got back to taiwan. that night i went was the last day of the fireworks festival. and it was very very nice, lasted vry long.

got super suntan-ed one day, was playing water activities and riding on a motorcycle. and i was the one riding with my mum behind me. HAHA too bad that day nvr take much photos cause we were wet la, and carried too much food with us, no hands to take the camera out to take photos.

not much shopping this time we got back, although there was only 3 of us, we had luggage of like 80+ kg back to singapore. its is all food and snacks.

first wk of school is okay bah. change of timetable, and causing me unable to go for wushu trngs on mondays now, as lessons only end like at 16:15
got back results of CTs too, not very well done. alot needs to be done for the PROMOs, my biggest challenge this year. aim to to well for that 60% of my academic year in year 5.

yay. holidays are here. the first semester of the school seemed to have passes SO FAST.
i think this is the year i'm starting to feel that time seriously passes so quickly. back in primary school, everyday seems to past so slowly. but thinking back, actually it went quite fast. (i'm gng round and round?!)

ytd was mother's day, went to my godmum's house. was helping cut the veggies for dinner, thn i cut myself =[ quite bad la... haha luckily this wk no piano lesson, if not i cant practice at all. its painful. haha.

ok back to study. tmr is GP and seriously my language need to buck up. maybe i shall start to read news everyday if possible. =) reading on human rights!!! =D

hello! its been so long since i last posted. super busy and trying to not let myself addicted to the computer.

however i wasted time on sat and sun playing cabal, when my mum went out, which makes me feel so guilty now when i could have taken that time to start revising for Common Tests, or even the chemical bonding test this coming friday. only after that did i realise how stupid i was to waste time on stuffs that was not beneficial. T.T

my mum's in vietnam with my dad since monday and i'm with my bro at home only. and my bro was like running high fever before my mum left. and now i ask him to drink more water, remind him to take his medicine, he also wont listen. gahhh fine i shan't care abt him anymore. i've been cooking dinner for the past few days =)

mon was speech day, abit waste of time in school, sitting in the LT for almost 1 hr and in the hall for like 4 hrs just to get my colours award. but thn i think the G-O-H this year is a very good speaker. her body language and the way she speaks seem to flow so smoothly. and she was a dunmanian and rjc student. so she was like in her jc sch campus but giving a speech for her sec sch. haha

after speech day, choinged home and went to E!hub (newly opened downtown east) to meet cheryl, jinwen, jon and justus for bowling. haha it went not bad, my 3rd game which was the last game, i've got 119 =) at least i hit the 100 mark. hehe.

but i realise everytime i play too much, i get super stressed out by work. but i can be the only one to be blamed as i wasted my sat and sun not dng proper work but playing some useless game that was not helping in any of my revision.

today went bowling again. this time alone, my bro wouldn't wanna go with me and bowl. so i took his card and as each of our cards can play 3 games free, i played a total of 6 games today. and i didn't really rest, except drink water at times. so its 6 games straight with a 10 pounds ball. WOOTS! today's highest was only 110. haha but when i started the 1st game, i immediately striked and it felt so shuang. LOL! although i wasted the strike when i started gng haywire. but today i got more spares alrdy. maybe cause i played more games today. but thn i waited for like 40+ lanes before getting a lane to play. so that made me wait for 2hrs, but i wrote my chemical bonding notes, which is still unfinished, while waiting. thn there's this lady who was taking picture of me dng work for dunno what reason. i realised when i heard the handphone capture image sound, thn when i look up, the camera was like pointing to me. -.- or maybe i'm thinking too much. haha. but thn i think she even changed the angle to take the picture of me after i looked up. i felt it, and i think i saw it from the corner of my eyes.

oh yea, i've got back my grade 8 results. score of 120, which is a merit. but i failed my aural, 9/18, passing mark is 12. and i only just passed my scales. but my pieces had relatively high scores. A:1 24/30, B:1 27/30, C:5 28/30. my teacher was saying that if my scales and aural did well enough, i could have gotten a distinction. zzzzz she was saying that her other student cannot do aural as well as i do, but got a higher mark for her aural. but thn that student has lesser score compared to me for the pieces. but its not too bad bahs, considering i finished my grade 8 with a merit, although distinction would be the best.

time to work HARDER! fri chemistry lecture test on chemical bonding, which i'm still confused in, gaseous state and atomic structure. this is the test to prove myself. the next challenge is the common test! i need some systematic revision man, and abit of motivation. maybe i shall reward myself with something nice after the last paper. but i always seem to look forward to the reward that i neglect the studies. haha. i'll need common test to pull up my first two terms' bad results.

tmr is labour day, and the day i will understand my chemical bonding inside out and hence do well for the chemistry lecture test!

helllo guys. just here to post some random pictures of the school today. around 4.30+ pm it started to rain VERY HEAVILY. thus i was trapped in school and thn i went to the canteen from the senior high container classroom block. however a group of us decided to go after waiting for the rain to stop for an hour or so.
