gahh.... these few days haf a lot of fishes arnd my hse... and my hand got fish smell... haha... cause this monday 3rd july, the youth day holiday, my family went to get 3 BIG FISHES. when i mean BIG it is really big, see whether can show u all the pictures. as my jiu ma's biao mei's husband was a captain of a ship who catches fish and sell to singapore, his boat parked at the jurong fishery port on 3rd july...
we watched 3 fishes being brought out frm the frezzer, it was still covered with white ice as when the fishes are caught, they are immediately put into the frezzer which is -50 degrees. as we were standing at the top, we saw the fish being quite ok. but when we went down to put it onto the car, OMG IT WAS BIG AND HEAVY! the uncle oso gave us some sashimi and some shark fins... WAH....
so when we reached home, me and my dad had to go downstairs 3 times in order to bring all the fishes upstairs... it was really heavy manz... when we got home, my mum weighed all 3 fishes and it was a total of 88.6 kg.... so heavy and the sashimi was arnd 11.6 kg and the fins abt 2.4 kg... there was so much. soon we began packing up the fish, and my mum went to buy a big knife to cut the fish up... as we cannot wait for the fish to unfrezze because it would not be nice anymore, we started cuting the fishes up... but it was such a tough job, in the end we spent 2 hrs only cutting out a small part of ONE fish...
as soon as a bit of fish was cut out, my mum cooked it and it tasted so nice. we also used internet to talk to my jiu ma and jiu jiu and used webcam to show them the fish. and my jiu jiu saed he hafta quickly buy air tickets to come here help us cut the fish and oso eat the fish... we were so happy and i had nvr seen such a big fish in my life!
my mum told my god father that we nid to cut the fish up and give them some, he advised us to go to his factory, which makes doors, and use the machine to cut up the fish... when we reached there as my godfather was cutting, we were toking abt how big the fish was...
thn ytd as the ship has to clear its goods for repair and maintanience, there was another 9 boxes of fish chin, fish stomach, fish tail and some small shark fins... so at night we packed the stuff and ask people to come get the fish...
but the good thing is that we no nid to spend money on buying fishes at least for half a year alrdy... it was a gd experience on the ship and cutting up the fishes and giving the things out!
